GENERATIVE AI POLICY

The use of AI in this journal must adhere to the following principles:

Authors remain fully responsible for the entire content of their manuscripts.

3. Permitted Use of AI

AI tools may be used for:

  • language editing and grammar improvement
  • enhancing clarity and structure
  • initial idea development

4. Prohibited Use of AI

AI must not be used to:

  • generate substantial scholarly content without meaningful intellectual contribution from the authors
  • produce theological analysis without critical verification
  • fabricate or manipulate research data
  • be listed or credited as an author

5. Mandatory Disclosure (REQUIRED)

Any use of generative AI must be clearly disclosed in the manuscript.

The disclosure statement must:

  • explain the purpose of AI use
  • be included in a designated section (e.g., Acknowledgment or a separate statement)

Example (if AI is used):

“The authors used generative AI tools in a limited capacity for language editing and manuscript structuring. All content has been critically reviewed and validated by the authors.”

If no AI is used:

“No generative AI tools were used in the preparation of this manuscript.”

Important:

Failure to disclose the use of AI may be considered a breach of publication ethics.

6. Citation and Validity

  • AI-generated content must not be cited as a source
  • All references must be academically verifiable
  • Authors are responsible for validating all AI-assisted outputs

7. Reviewers and Editors

Reviewers and editors:

  • must not upload manuscripts to public AI platforms
  • must maintain strict confidentiality
  • may use AI tools in a limited and responsible manner

All editorial decisions must remain under human judgment.

8. Violations

Violations of this policy may result in:

  • manuscript rejection
  • article retraction
  • restriction on future submissions
