Model Pelayanan Holistik Gereja dalam Perspektif Injil Lukas: Studi Kasus Panti Asuhan Stergein

Children in orphanages face complex issues that are often not addressed holistically due to limited funds and resources. This qualitative case study, conducted at the Stergein Orphanage, aims to examine the implementation of holistic church ministry based on Luke 4:18-19 and to formulate an applicable ministry model for the local church. The findings reveal that while basic physical and spiritual needs are largely met, psychological aspects, particularly inner healing, remain unaddressed. Consequently, this study underscores the need for local churches to develop integrated psychological support programs to complement existing ministry efforts. The research offers novelty by systematically integrating the narrative of Luke 4:18-19 with the contextual case study of the Stergein Orphanage to propose an applicable model of holistic ministry.
Abstrak
Anak-anak di panti asuhan menghadapi masalah kompleks yang sering kali tidak tertangani secara holistik akibat keterbatasan dana dan sumber daya. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengkaji implementasi pelayanan holistik gereja berdasarkan Lukas 4:18-19 di Panti Asuhan Stergein dan merumuskan model pelayanan yang aplikatif bagi gereja lokal. Studi kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus di Panti Asuhan Stergein ini menemukan bahwa pelayanan jasmani dan rohani pada dasarnya sudah dipenuhi, namun aspek psikologi terutama terkait pemulihan jiwa belum terpenuhi. Berdasarkan temuan ini, gereja lokal perlu mengembangkan program pendampingan psikologis yang terintegrasi untuk melengkapi pelayanan di Panti Asuhan Stergein. Kajian ini menawarkan kebaruan dengan integrasi narasi Lukas 4:18–19 dan studi kasus Panti Asuhan Stergein untuk model pelayanan holistik yang aplikatif bagi gereja lokal.
